Sebra has acquired exclusive rights to the original Juno bed and has recently re-launched an updated version of the classic design.
The famous Juno bed was originally designed by the Danish architect Viggo Einfeldt in the years 1942-43. He designed the cotbed that became a timeless and iconic piece of furniture. It was based on the idea that the bed should be able to grow with the child while being safe while the child was baby. The bed’s design is extremely unique and distinctive, and was very special for its time. The beautiful bed soon became very popular across descerning Scandinavian parents. Today it is considered to be a Danish design icon and it remains a token of Danish style.
One of the improvements Sebra have made is to use a unique antibacterial, non toxic wood paint which inhibits any bacterial growth on surfaces.
